Interim Lead Pastor

Bill Dondit currently lives in Wheeling, Illinois where he served fifteen years as Senior Pastor of Our Savior Evangelical Free Church. His ministry experience spans 44 years in Senior Pastor ministry in three churches. Additionally he has served as Interim Pastor at Mount Claire Baptist church in Elmwood Park, Illinois. and Central Bible church in Aurora, Illinois. He double majored in Pastoral studies and music in what is now Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Post graduate studies were done at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He and his wife Deeann have 6 adult children and enjoy 14 grand children.

Youth Pastor-

Pastor Jim Oakley was born and raised in Michigan where he did his undergrad at Central Michigan University attaining a BA in Broadcasting & Cinematic arts with a minor in Art. Jim has about five years of youth ministry experience in diverse settings and an MDIV from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is passionate about creatively and systematically equipping students to become fully devoted disciples who make disciples.  Jim and his wife Victoria met at Trinity International University and currently live in Buffalo Grove.  Jim came on staff October 2008.

Our Saviour Kids Director-

Nancy came on staff in the summer of 2004 as our part-time Children’s Ministries Director. Although raised in central Iowa, she and her husband Dave have called the Chicago area “home” since 1990 and have been in the business of rearing their 3 children during that time—Jacob, Nick and Andrea. A full-time homemaker with a degree in business administration, Nancy has been involved in women’s ministries and children’s ministries since becoming a Christian in 1988. The Our Saviour KIDS team is excited about partnering with parents in the very important mission of teaching children to know, love and serve Jesus Christ.

Ministry Assistant-

Rita Bruzik is a native Chicagoan and has been Ministry Assistant since 2001. She holds a bachelors degree in Management from DePaul University and brings many years of business administration experience to her position. Rita can assist you with just about any question you may have about the day to day operation of the church. A large part of her ministry includes communication within the congregation as well as in the community. Rita and her husband Lester have been members of Our Saviour since 1986. They have two college aged children, Christina and Michael.
